Who we are

Scorpion Legal Protection (RF) (Pty) Ltd is a registered non-mandated intermediary, underwritten by Legal Expenses Insurance Southern Africa Limited. Since 1996, we’ve been helping South Africans access affordable legal advice, assistance, and court representation. Over the years, we’ve empowered thousands of members to defend and enforce their legal rights.

In 2008, we expanded our offering by launching the Scorpion Funeral Plan, giving members access to competitively priced funeral insurance to help them prepare for life’s unexpected moments.

What we do

We provide solutions to legal problems at low premiums. Among the various services offered, our members can access paralegal advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also have independent attorneys supporting our members in court matters or when they need formal legal representation.

Our Funeral plan provides members with the financial means to give their family a dignified funeral backed by a team of attorneys. This includes access to paralegal advice on any legal challenges they may face when finalising the deceased individual’s estate.
